-A family of 8 contacted me from out of town asking if I could help them find a home as quickly as possible because the father just landed a new teaching job here in Northern Kentucky. I quickly found several homes that fit their criteria and took the dad out to show him. After 2 busy days of viewing homes, he chose one in Burlington. The family was so grateful that I was able to “find them a home that really fit” for them in such a short notice.

-I met a couple whom I helped purchase a foreclosed home in 2010. After 8 months, they contacted me again to list this same house which they beautifully rehabbed. We put it on the market for $309,000 and many people commented to me that “you have priced that home way too high for the neighborhood!” I showed them just how different this property was to homes they wanted to compare it too. Needless to say that only after 59 days, I sold their home for $299,900 (97% of asking price). It surprised the neighbors but you can imagine how happy my sellers were too.

Three months later they called me again to help them purchase another fixer-upper. They are working on it now.

One lady who had a house listed previously with another agent asked me to sell her home in Burlington for her. She said that she had no luck with the other agent who just planted a sign in her yard and never heard from again. That is until 2 weeks before it was going to expire on the market (then he called to ask if she wanted to relist it with him again). She said “no” and called me. We sat down together and wrote out a detailed game plan to sell her house. The house SOLD within 90 days at 98% of the asking price! __________________________________________________________________

Another client, who I'll call Shawn (for privacy purposes) had a lovely Zaring home in Florence. He lived in it for 6 months (he bought it brand new) when he and his family decided that they wanted to move back home to be closer to their family in another state. He listed it with another agent for 6 months but with no luck. So he called me to list his home. Since he was out of town I took care of all of the necessary issues that came up (i.e. weeded his garden, cleaned his refrigerator and bathrooms etc.) because I wanted it to be presentable for showings. I also hired a contractor for him to fix the broken bricks around his garage door. An offer was made within 109 days for 95% of the asking price. Shawn was very happy to finally get the house sold.

There were some minor issues brought up after the inspection, that needed to be taken care of prior to closing (i.e. removing the old satellite dish, and cleaning out his basement). I willingly did this for Shawn because I truly cared about helping him and his family. Plus, it was a 5 hour drive.
